Called asking for our director by name as he said they emailed him for an enquiry which was a lie. He said he is Tom from Pioneer. Mumbles a lot so you can't hear what it is relating to when you ask him. Hung up on me twice now. What a knob
At least two calls from this number so far using the sadly common approach of 'Hi It's ......... ....I'm returning Mr_____'s call, he asked me to give him a call today.' (naming my business and life partner, a listed director, easy info to gather). Refusing to say in connection with what matter. Demanding to be put through and inferring how my (boss) would be upset with me if I did not. Refused to repeat his name or company name after I suggested my partner had categorically NOT asked him to call and I could be quite certain of that. Asked him to remove our company details from his call list and have blocked number. Also rang the number from a different line - it is answered 'Thank you for calling Pioneer I am afraid all of our agents are busy at the moment please call again'. No such company as 'Pioneer' in Durham. SCAM for sure but not sure of what nature.
Guy with Southern accent called "Glen Williams" called our head office twice in 18 hours asking to speak to MD by name - refused to disclose the nature of the call, abrupt attitude, would only advise he was calling from "Pioneer" in reference to his email sent to the MD. Insisted MD would know him by name (untrue, MD has never heard of him) and insisted he'd call back. Sounded like a call centre in the background, very noisy.
From someone called Mike Waddington claiming to have a pre-arranged call with our CEO. CEO had never heard of him. Very persistent and irritating.
Really rude woman Claire Jones - thinks rudeness and lies about MD expecting the call, and has spoken to him previously, is going to get her through to my MD.. nope! Abuse will get you blocked and an appropriate review about your company added...
caller asked for director, told not in and caller hung up immediately
