I was waiting for an urgent call back from my doctor. I could hear they were south african. I tried to explain that I couldn't talk because I was waiting for my doctor to call. She clearly didn't care. I asked if she was trying to sell me something and she said no, it was about a claim in the last 18 months. I do actually have a claim going through my car insurance at the moment and thought it might be something to do with that. I told her to call me back tomorrow. Haven't heard anything. I suspect it's a scam.

Asking about a road accident was involved in. Can't give any details, other than "a road accident within last 18 months" Try to talk over you as you enquire for specific details, then hang up when they eventually realise you know it's a scam
