Called a few minutes ago, the voice quality was odd and very unclear, like a text message. It said that a card transaction for £199 on Amazon had been presented; press 1/press2 to confirm or speak to someone, etc. This looks like my local exchange but it is a scam. I listened to the call in silence after an opening 'hello' and waited in silence for a few minutes and then hung up. I checked my Amazon account, which was OK, so this number will be blocked
