Answered the phone and it sounded like a recorded message. I asked a question and the message still kept going. Then after 4 minutes a voice said I'm reading from a script then swore at me and hung up. Called the number back and it was deadline.

Said he was energy advisor and had an agent in the area, to check loft insulation, told them I had a loft conversion last year so did not need them they said I should still let them check I said no thanks they didn't listen tried to make appointment again I said polightly no thanks was then if Friday was OK. I hung up feeling angry and frustrated, will not be so polite if they ring again or turn up. Total scam in my opinion I am a savvy pensioner others might not be and fall for it

Received a call. He said he was my Local Energy Provider. Was very pressuring and proceeded to tell me that our loft insulation must be checked as it might be mouldy and not doing its job. Asked if we were between the ages of 50 and 75 and house owners. Said it would be all free. Didn’t give me a choice and said I’d receive a call back within the hour. I asked him where he was calling from. Insulate your Home, apparently. I saw him off and said I never make snap decisions over the phone without investigating further. Tried to persuade me! Second type of call I’ve had this week. Other one was from Energy Hub, she said! Scam calls, I think.

Luke our local energy advisor called. Sounded like a computer generated voice !

Message on answerphone saying they are my local energy advisor. Doubt it.
