Tried to say they were from virgin media.Definate scam!
Called and only had my forename. Asked if I had the vaccine and then quoted an old postcode. I advised that the track and trace number doesn't match theirs and that I knew he was trying to scam me. He hung up
A man with a strong Indian accent said he was calling from the NHS and asked if I'd been vaccinated. (Surely he would know this is he worked for the NHS.) He asked whether I had any side effects, had I got a vaccination card and wanted to check my postcode. I got suspicious and hung up at this point.
As above, they had the correct post code and correct first name, I didn't tell them it was correct. Asked about certificates for covid jab I said I had it. Wanted to k know who i have my health I insurance with and how much I pay. Asked me to confirm my name and telephone number, I refused. I stayed on because I was intrigued to find out the scam but I'm none the wiser.
Said they are calling from NHS and asked I had COVID vaccination and any symptoms. Then said they will send a certificate but had my old address. Insisted to know my life insurance provider saying you have missed out the government financial support. This made me suspicious and when I said don’t want to provide details they kept insisting so I hung up. A new scam similar to the PPI calls.
Said they were from UK refund department. Was very rude when I said I was registered with the TPS
my phone rung. I picked but but I did not speak. The caller hung up
said they were with the NHS calling about the vaccine and asking if I'd received vaccine certificate yet, wanted to check my address so they could post a hard copy. When I challenged them saying I didn't need a hard copy as the details were available online they hung up.
Had an old postcode of mine & asked about COVID 19 vaccinations. Can’t be genuine as they would surely have my correct postcode, the one my vaccination appointments were sent to. I questioned them & they hung up very quickly.
Scam - please don’t talk to them, Just put the phone down.
Said they were calling from NHS and asked if I’d been vaccinated for Covid-19. I hung up before I heard the scam.
