Sadly, I answered knowing it was probably spam call. Caller hung up without a word after 2 seconds. Now they know my number is active and usually sell it on to others to market to. Legislation does not seem stron enough to stop this number pimping.

Had several calls from this and similar numbers the first time they called saying they want 30 seconds and ask two questions. They wanted to verify some identity information which I refused saying I am not interested. They keep calling and are now trying similar numbers when I blocked the original one. If you don't speak the call automatically drops and does not get put through to anyone unless you speak so some kind of auto dialler is being used.

Had seven calls from this number & variants like 01873 901039 all in the same day!! From around 10.30am to 3pm & will probably get even more. As soon as a number is blocked they try @ slightly different number. VERY ANNOYING😠
