Phoned me saying that £1000 pounds had been taken from my account believed to be fraud and I was to push one if I wanted it cancelled or 2 to speak to someone so I just put phone down

I called my mobile but asked for my wife. When I asked who he was he said national lottery and my wife has won. I said this isn’t her number, he said she put in her details. She has never bought a ticket so I hung up. This was about the 10th time they had called so I decided to wait until the silence was over and listen to him. Call number now blocked

Very pleasant lady claiming to be calling “about the National lottery” (as opposed to from the National lottery) they probably want you to buy tickets or sign up to a monthly draw. They are not affiliated with the National lottery so I would probably avoid unless you have money to throw away at cold callers
