01838 440006 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Nothing said, just hung up?

Said he was from sky assurance and that they had taken over from sky protect and that they don’t take monthly direct debit anymore and either had to pay a year or for 2 years upfront today or I would get an £89 cancellation charge for breaking contract. I hung up the phone and called sky protect. Definitely a scam and the call wouldn’t of come from sky protect as they always write if any changes

Just hung up when I answered. A few minutes after a (rare) call to my mobile that hung up before I could answer it.

I've just had a call from this number and as above, he said he was from "Sky Maintenance" .....yeh right😆 Upon challenging the guy, I told him that I suspected he was from a scam centre, probably somewhere in India, of which I've seen many a video on YouTube. He promptly called me a racist, until I pointed out that I never made any kind of racial insult and that just because most of these type of scam centres actually ARE in India, and it could be the north pole for what it matters to me. Anyway I told him I didn't believe him for a second and that he can write to me....I won't hold my breath 😆

Didn’t answer as on mobile at the time. Says it’s Dalmally wherever/whatever that is.

Claimed to be from "Sky Equipment Maintenance", claiming that our maintance contract was due for renewal. As soon as I told him our company didn't have Sky and never had, he hung up.

Suspect scam caller due to use of communications provider and possibly false address in Scotland. I was unable to answer but the number looks suspicious
