Missed call. Number unknown. No message left on answer machine. Seeing other comments, glad I missed it.
just another cold call - number not recognised = number not answered = empty message on answering service.
Any caller not in my book gets my response "Number not recognised." Will likely ring again if ignored.
Keeps calling landline, at least twice a day. Like others don't answer unrecognised numbers !
Has called persistently for a couple of months. A real nuisance caller. Have told him, John ,to stop calling. Have only inadvertently answered on 3 occasions.
Suspect a scam. Keep calling with no message - I don’t know them. Did not ask for call. Please go away.
I received a call for the first time today. I was sitting at my office desk at home, so could monitor the incoming call. Seeing the number to be what it was, I recognised almost instantly that this must be a scam call and therefore didn't answer it. A couple of minutes later, I went to the 1571 facility and found a rather rough-voiced male had left a rather stupid message. It was very short and gave no details of company name or personal name. It said, "You apparently have a driveway at your address - is that right?" And that was it!! So - quite obviously it's a bunch of cowboys trying to con a few hundred people out of large sums of money for laying or redlaying their driveways - or conning them into paying parge sums up front, after which you never see or hear from them again! Well - he's the idiot, because I live in the centre of a very heavily populated city where there are no driveways. I am lucky to find a parking place near to my house and even on the same street!! I suggest you follow my principle - DON'T ANSWER any call where you do not recognise the incoming I.D. If they have anything interesting to say, they will leave a message. In this case - he had nothing interesting to say - but left a message anyway! Good luck everyone.
My wife and I just ignore numbers we don't recognise. If it's genuine, they'll leave a message.
Called twice yesterday but a call blocker phone on 'announce only', so obviously shy.
Nuisance factor remains . Many have calls directed to answer machines. I know mine are. BUT the calls keep coming. Who do they speak to? Who buys their “product”?
Like the above, we don't answer when the caller's number isn't recognised. Our answermachine is permanently on which acts as a useful screening device for these unwanted calls as there is never a message left. However, the nuisance factor remains.
Called twice today (09.08.22) but did not leave message, so presumably a scam. We do not answer unrecognised numbers on landline because of calls like this - it only encourages them...
7 calls over 2 days ,john from driveway centre ,very annoying
Phoned twice. Went straight to answer machine. Surprised no message left. But annoyed I keep missing these callers, I have bought a very loud whistle to entertain them with. I do hope that won’t suffer any permanent damage or go deaf.

Constant calling, especially early evening. I have ignored the calls and started declining them, but they still call...
This call was from scammers claiming to be from EE saying I may qualify for a 30% discount off my bill for the next...
Got a text- it's from Scrumbles cat food. Link leads to their website. All good.
Indian guy with thick accent pretending to be from o2 and virgin media. Hung up abruptly when questioned.
