01772 319988 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Scam/Phishing. Caller claimed to be from an energy company and lied saying he had my "previous energy details on file" to get my data. When pressed to email those details, he sent total waffle. He called back 3 weeks later to follow up. I cut to the chase and told him I rent and have never paid for energy directly, so he couldn't possibly have my details. He then claimed he just bought the company in August from a "previous owner." When I revealed that I actually set the company up and there was no previous owner, he tried to make an excuse and hung up on me. Incredibly rude and completely fraudulent—do not trust.

Supposedly been asked to call me by my energy supplier about finding a better contract. But they had wrong supplier info, wrong contact name and wrong address. When i called them out, they were abusive, saying i was wrong. I hung up on them. They called back and were extremely abusive. Avoid like the plague.

Calls asking for people that deal with the energy contracts - pretends to be local - then questions you when you said you're not interest - rude and vulgar!

Said was calling from Ideal Utilities no doubt wanting us to change our energy provider

Quite a few calls from 01772319988 over the last few weeks,when phone answered it is an engaged dial tone. If you call it back it will ring once then the line goes dead.

Spam/scam nuisance.
