Nhs to confirm appointment..

Call ended when I answered. If it's important they will phone back, I'm not going to phone them incase it's a scam.

Had robot voicemail when didn’t answer claiming to be about an NHS appointment, didn’t leave number to contact or anything, requested I press any number on keypad to ‘answer’ voicemail? Really suspicious

They have called me 3 times and asked me to call 22201/22202 why if they are legit don’t they simply leave a voicemail which I can listen to from my mobile, also it could be a scam I don’t answer and when the message arrives on my mobile the mobile or main landline doesn’t ring! I have had scam calls in the last couple of weeks so I am very wary. And there is a scam where someone pretends to be Derriford hospital so who knows, they can call me direct, send me an email or letter.

Update on my previous entry. No-one has turned up. Each time I was asked if I would be present which may be a pertinent question. Despite using an NHS number, to which you cannot reply, I believe this to be some kind of scam and if my mum had been on her own maybe someone would have turned up. I have reported these incidents to the police.

Lady called Sarah phoned to make appointment for Covid injection at home in 4 days time. Had two previous calls like this (their number not taken) some time ago both of which came to nothing. No-one turned up. Will wait to see what happens in a few days time.

this is the number used by University Hospitals Plymouth NHS trust to contact patients. they used to use an 0845 number but changed to a Plymouth number in the hope that patients would more likely answer a local landline number than an 0845 one
