A very lovely lady who is a call handler for NHS 111 called me back - i had registered for a call back early hours.

Rang at night kept waking me up.

Should be 111 NHS out of hours medical expert but apparently operating a phone call is beyond them. Rang twice answered it spoke to caller no answer dead call. Rang again 2 mins later 1 ring then it ended did not even get a chance to answer. The NHS is in the Toilet, call centre operators, no local surgery answer call. phone to book a appointment call just before 8am to beat the line. no answer, call back at 8.01 phone line fully booked.( 60 calls in 60 seconds apparently)! Online surgery booking got a reply email stating they would call back same day before 6.30. No Call received. Then 4 days later receive a auto reply from original email if no call received request contact message direct link. `email received 4 days later stating go to your local NHS `hospital. As a walk in and wait all day to be seen. Again the NHS in appointment system in Wales is in the toilet.

Had calls at 1am then at 3am. We were waiting for a 111 NHS call back but this was for a dental appointment, not a medical emergency. They number also rang off quickly, no time to actually answer.

They are a call back for 111 nhs direct I believe. As in a g.p returning the call so explains people having calls at unsociable hours.

Tried ringing me 7 times at 2am! Then trying on withheld
