We received a call at 2.43 am this morning and it also woke the whole house. Didn’t answer it as saw it was a number I didn’t recognise. Hope this doesn’t continue as the numbers ringing through the day are bad enough.

Received call at 02:45am. Didn’t answer it but woke the house. Only a few family members have landline number so thought it was an emergency call at that time of the morning.

This number has called a couple oftimes this week… Sounds like an Indian voice with background noise… Followed by the phone line going dead/hang up… Haven’t called it back in case it’s some sort of forward scam that puts you through on a high cost telephone number

Hung up when i answered.. rang them back and the line does not exist... Obvious scammer now blocked

No msg left on answer machine , tried calling back dead tone

Claimed to be from Virgin Media, then hung up when I asked how I can help. Next time, I'm going to answer as Virgin Media Helpdesk and see what happens.

This number phones at least weekly it sounds like an Indian or that part of country with accent. It is definitely a scam / fraudulent call.

No idea why this person keeps calling when you answer they cant hear you and hang up so annoying believed spammer

This type of phone call, is annoying, and I can see why it can be upsetting to some people. I wish somebody would do something about these calls, as they can be infuriating at times!!!!!!

My cousin just had same thing! Her virgin Internet being used illegally and if she doesn't sort it out with them then she could be in big trouble. She's 70 and really worried. I've told her to ignore it as it sounds like a scam but she's still worried

Said WiFi was being used illegally sounded Indian it's a scam

I had this number call and they said my Internet is being used illegally and said they was from the technical department

Call twice within a few minutes, silent then hung up.

Silence followed by hang up - called back but "number does not exist"

When i answered they just hung up very annoying
