AMAZON, SPAM, SCAM CALL - THEY DIVED STRAIGHT INTO THE NAME OF THE PERSON ACCOUNT THEY WERE CALLING ON BEHALF OF AND ALREADY BROKE DATA PROTECTION BECAUSE I WAS NOT SAID PERSON. I CHALLENGED "ERIKA" AND IT WAS CLEAR IT WAS A SCAM BECAUSE SHE TALKED OVER ME AND WOULDN'T LISTEN, BEFORE HANGING UP. HOW THE F THESE PEOPLE GET HOLD OF NAMES AND NUMBERS IS BEYOND ME AND SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO MORE TO PREVENT IT. WE ARE TPS REGISTERED BUSINESS WHICH MEANS ABSOLUTELY F ALL TO THESE SCUMBAGS.

Scam saying from Amazon security. Ignored

Claimed to be from Amazon security

Educated male voice claiming to be from Amazon saying my account had been accessed and an order for about £700 made. He said an email has been sent to me about this and asked me to check. I assumed it was as a scam and ended the call. I later checked my Amazon account and there was nothing suspicious.

Didn’t recognise the number, so let the answer-phone take it, and no message was left - so obviously not that desperate to get me to call back.

Non English "Mark" from Amazon wanting to access my PC! Scammers!

The caller said he was calling from Amazon Security and the call was cut off immediately when I said I would be recording the call.

Heavy Asian accent speaking very poor English. Tried to tell me my Amazon account had been hacked. Told him to 'Go Away'!

Said his name was Michael from Amazon and someone called David from Devon was trying to use mu Amazon account. I played along for a bit and then told him I knew he was a scammer so he should get a proper job. He then said he would come to my house and help me and gave me my address. Absolutely disgusting people.

Call claiming to be from Amazon. Finished the call immediately.

Such a thick Indian accent I couldn't understand a word. Told him this and asked him to repeat it, phone went silent so I hung up.

Scammer claiming my Anazon account had been hacked

Called today and said from amazon.. I put the phone down

Claimed my email had been compromised

The phone number just makes a continuous note when you call it back. What I do not understand is why these phone numbers are not simply cut off by the phone companies that they cannot be used again?
