Car finance scam

Said they were a third-party rental claim service provider to claim deposit. I asked what if I am no longer renting and I have gotten my deposit back from my landlord, said I might still be eligible for a claim if my deposit wasn't protected under the right scheme. Said they are with rentail claims, only after I asked but not at the beginning of the conversation. Gave me their website, rentalclaims.co.uk which I challenged was empty and not published at the moment but made it look less important and claimed they work with the government. I played along and said their lawyer will reach out next Monday and to tell them his name - Thomas Riley Anderson. Didn't sound like a Thomas Anderson btw - had more of a southern asian accent. Doesn't sound legit to me as there were already a lot of red flags.

Called reporting to be a claims company for car finance.

Been calling no stop despite being blocked from another number left me a voicemail or just heavy breathing

Said they were calling re a claim submitted over my tenancy deposit.i informed them I had submitted no such claim and I am a homeowner. Hung up.

Claimed to be calling about a rental deposit I had paid. I told them their info was over 20 years out of date and to remove my details from their database as per Gdpr - they refused 😣😣🤬

Keeps calling but a scam or span number. Do not answer

Received a call today about a claim against my 'car finance'. I've NEVER had cr finance. Foreign accent. Annoying.

The number keeps calling me 7 times in a day

Didn't speak the call was silent then cut off

Scam - As someone else said claiming to be a "reclaim team"
