I have recently applied for a Vodafone contract and this number called me to say that my request was cancelled but they can offer me to accommodate the contract but I have to provide my bank account details over the telephone. I said that I already provided them when the on-line form was done. I was not comfortable providing this details over the telephone to a person. She was really adamant to say that they are genuine from Vodafone. But I refused. May not be spam but not good practice, sorry.

Asked for a PAC number and gave already changed so too late Vodafone. Was paying way over the odds and got a much better deal elsewhere. Won’t answer as I have already left! Going to block number a
Called me after requesting a PAC code from Vodafone. Didn’t leave a voicemail or anything and I’m not sure if it’s legit or not. Either way they can’t convince me to stay. Vodafone is just too expensive if you buy from them directly.
Vodafone trying to get me to stay on there overpriced network
I requested a PAC code also as my contract is up. Didn’t answer but follows the same pattern as previous comments
Did not pick up as I don't know anyone in Rotherham, but the previous entries on this web page fits with my experience as I too have requested a PAC code today from vodafone.
Repeated calls from this number after I requested a PAC number to switch away from Vodafone; that was a problem in itself.
These are the retention’s department and they are not a scam. I went through security with them and they sent me a message (from Vodafone) and I ended up getting a better deal through them.
It’s Vodafone!
Ignore comments saying scam - It is genuine, vodafone trying to reach out if you requested a PAC (to leave/switch to another network provider) retention team will call to understand why your leaving and offer you something to stay.
My contract date ended today so rung and cancelled gave 30 days notice that I’m leaving since then I’ve had no end of calls from all these strange numbers
PAC code also
My smart phone, tell me it is a potential fraud, I asked for a PAC, the caller asked me the reason I am leaving my provider. When I told hime I am suspicious of being fraudulent he closed.
Requested a PAC this morning, and received a call from this number within 2 hours - Ignored as I asked for a PAC for a reason!
if you request the PAC to leave Vodafone they are calling to basically ask you to stay (presumably offer deals etc.) I'd already used my code which ported me to virgin (£12 a month instead of 60 or whatever id been paying at Voda) nice guy and not a scam but definitely more in the sales side
