01709 242633 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Call came but we didn't answer in time. When seeing ROTHERHAM on mobile's display of missed calls we googled the number as we have no connections with Rotherham and never been near the place. We live on Dartmoor, Devon. Possibly a scam of some kind.

What is this?

Called and said he is from vodafone, has a very heavy up north accent, which always has me thinking. he was acting nice, however they are never nice when you call them, sure they are fake nice. However that flakiness fades when you question them. I have now blocked the number.

Said they where from Vodafone and if i didnt give them 10 mins of my time I would be pestered with constant phone calls, told them I was busy and hung up and instantly blocked the number.

When answered caller hangs up phone, tried calling again something happens. DO NOT ANSWER

Keeps on phoning me - very annoying since I only give my mobile number out to friends.

Can’t they block this fucking idiots landline for ever. And fine him/ her a landline should be registered so they can close this harassment idiot number too.

It is a genuine vodafone number, you can check on their website. Its just the sales team, different departments trying to convince you to take up a deal ring from different numbers.

I got a call DO NOT ANSWER

I have just blocked a call from this number on my mobile. No idea who it is. I would recommend not answering at all, just block and report.

Claimed to be from Vodafone, but definitely not. Trying to get account details

Definitely dodgy

Said they were calling from Vodafone and that because Im valued customer they wanted to give me a brand new iPad for £30 and I could get it tomorrow!! I told them I already had a iPad so to not call this number again. They hung up. Seemed dodgy to me

Claimed to be from customer services Vodafone and wanted to ask me questions. Being suspicious i told him i was working and too busy and put the phone down. His pleasant northern accent meant he sounded quite genuine which may of course help him to con folk. `

Called saying they had promotions from Vodafone - blocked

Nuisance call from someone who has purchased mobile numbers from Vodaphone! Blocked!

Phoned claiming to be from vodaphone and said I was a valued customer and they are looking to give back to me then just hung up

Repeatedly calling me hang up on pick up nuisance

I get called everyday but dont answer anymore.

Claimed to be calling from Vodafone trying to sell new promotions. Odd thing is that shortly after (on 2 occasions now) I've then received a call from a mobile number saying they had a missed call from me and who am I. Some strange connections of mobile numbers is going on, seems suspicious.
