Claimed to be from Three Mobile, I told her that she was not calling from a number used by Three and hung up. She had an Indian accent and did not speak straight away. Lots of noise in the background

Exactly the same. She was very slow when talking. Took her ages to say “I am” Asked me what I’m currently paying with EE. So I said “I thought you’d know?” She then asked me again and I said “aren’t you calling me from EE? Because you’d know how much I’m paying”. She went silent, then hung up.
Caller: EE apparently.

Man speaking in an almost incomprehensible accent, managed to make out that he was claiming to be calling from my provider Vodafone, then he hung up when I said they're not my provider.
