01668 228544 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Asked me if I was 'my full name', said yes, and then said they were from 'Lifestyle UK' and needed one minute to speak to me. I asked them how they got my number and they said it was from publicly accessible records. Blocked and reported to Action Fraud.

Caller asked for me by my previous name and when I said no that wasn't me, she hung up. Lady had an accent which could have been Indian. I have blocked this number now. Very annoying.

The South Asian voice is checking personal details for an ID theft theft attempt, who knows what trouble this could land people in as these people need locking up as fraudsters. Report them and if UK based, have them investigated by the authorities. I have reported them to SOCA and the FCS.

Called 12.30 today. Rang off when I answered. What is the fcuking point? Now blocked

Refused the call. My phone told me it was a spam call,

Missed call from that number today, no voicemail left. I don’t know why any one from Bamburgh would want to contact me so have now blocked the number as spam!

Rang asking me to confirm an old address I refused to give current address and they hung up. Likely scam or phishing.

Asked to speak to ("me")-I replied Can I say who's calling....they hung up lol Googled number John Smith Number now 🚫 I'm sure they'll try again...if I'm feeling mischievous might torment them and give them back a bit of their own medicine 😅

called two mornings at 8.45 answered lady asked for a different name so I said not me and have now blocked it!

Wanted to ask some questions-when I asked why and what the questions were he ignored the question. Then when I said I’m not interested he became really rude and put the phone down.

This number rung me today 01668 228544 Yesterday I had 01668 228543. No messages left I did manage to find out the owner of the phone number they have several numbers with the last digit Is different. Company name is Jasson Smith funny how someone on her said their other guy was Ivan Smith. 🤣🤣🤣 must be the smith family with the wooden leg. My phone is in listen unknown callers so no one gets through.

Have had a call from this and and another similar number yesterday and today. Got my name right but a 10+ year old address (i did not confirm). Man yesterday, woman today, both Asian sounding. Man hung up after a minute of my questions, woman kept on saying this was a housing review. I said I didn’t want to answer questions, “why not?” I said I am registered with TPS and don’t want cold callers. To her credit she appeared to make a note of this and politely signed off.

Silent but have had repeated calls since 22 August

Have been called two days running by a foreign gentleman(sarcasm). Asked to speak to me by name, I wouldn’t confirm who I was and asked who he was but wouldn’t reply just kept saying he wanted to speak to me. On the first day he put the phone down today however when I asked who he was he became quite aggressive and said his name was Ivor Smith. I quite unpolitely told him not to call me again and blocked the number! BEWARE!

They called me on a slightly different number yesterday, said my maiden name, told them that wasn’t my name and hung up, got the same call today asked for my maiden name, told them again, they got the wrong number, no one by that name here

Silent call for a bit. Asked about my home address. I said politely I'm not going to answer any question. They hung up. Legit companies aren't rude or gi straight I with asking for your address.

Seems to be a phishing scam as they asked for confirmation of my name and old address anyone who gets these calls i would definitely recommend reporting them to the FCA who can log the scam and make sure other people are aware too. I had to call FCA yesterday due to some pretending to be them. Or report any case like this to action fraud if they have obtained any personal details.

Voicemail left but just silent, then some background noise and they hung up. Blocked caller

Called and asked for confirmation of an old address as my current address. Refused to say purpose of the call, even though I asked twice. Hung up when I told them it was an old address. BEWARE as this bears all the hallmark of phishing or scammers.
