they are calling to say they can switch your landline to save money, when i said we are locked into a contract, they was getting very pushy about switching. They then asked to confirm the details, it was very apparent it was a scam call, as they thought we only had one landline on the account and thought that number was a fixed number not a voip number. So this was very clear it was a scam to trick you to say yes switch and then your legally binding to do that.
