Saying I had been in a car accident that wasn't my fault. Told him that was not the case and asked him not to call me again. Will block the number.

Called and said "You've been in an accident?" I replied "Sorry can you repeat" to which the male caller aggressively said "Get off my phone you idiot" I said "You called me!" and he cut off.

Asking about car accident. Explained I haven’t had one and asked to be removed from their list. Gentleman was very polite and said he would. Have blocked the number anyway.
