Wanted to talk about Electricity installation, let him carry on for awhile then told him I was a retired Network Engineer which was true he then realised he was out his comfort zone. The line went dead. I now block all 0161 numbers.
Called Vet practice when answered they hung up
Just provide some meaningless sentences
Stayed and listened when phone answered and then hung up
Number blocked sales for a listing company.
Asked if I was x business. I said, "Yes." Replied, "OK darling." and hung up
Claimed to be from BT offering 30% discount if born between 1939 and 1960. Refused to give him my birth date as I am not with BT. He got a bit agitated, repeated his script and when I continued to refuse and rang off. At least I wasted 5 mins of his time lol.
They did not say anything.and rang off .
