Pretending to be Carphone Warehouse - clearly trying to scam

phoned and when answered nothing is said

no answer when picked up the call

Claimed to be from EE, asking about my phone, I hung up on them. Scam.

Random caller who hung up, block them.

Said nothing and hung up on me.

Had two calls from this number. Both silent. Given the comments above and no reason to be receiving a call from that area code I'm blocking it and assuming it's a scam.
