Said a hotel chain went bust and wondered if we would like to buy their domain names so we could do without booking dot com ! Hung up

Mentioned Nominet Scottish agent being sold and forgot to take my domain name over. They could take my domain name on for a fee. Told the young lady in my bestest Scottish accent to shove it right up her #r@e.

Rang trying to sell me a domain name that was so loosely related to my actual domain for name £310 it was laughable. Apparently the first phone call was because someone had retired and the domain name became available, I informed her she had our business category completely wrong, and the domain names were completely unrelated to our business. she called back 10 minutes later with more domain names available. A quick check on purchasing the domain names with a well known brand revealed I could purchase them myself for around £4.

Called about website domains to link to my facebook page, became very insistent so i hung up

My wife text to say I’m getting a call, as these people are trying to take over my website, but the people who run it haven’t said nothing, besides, I use “Hiya” and it came up fraud. Be careful peeps.
