Same Dyson service scam. Rang and asked about our Dyson, complimented on still using it after all these years then started to offer a service. Having seen this scam on Watchdog I told him no several times before he slammed the phone down. Next time I will string them along a long as possible!
Called to ask if we still used our Dyson vacuum as it was due for a service. When I said that we did not have a Dyson, he apologised; and when I asked if they were covered by the TPS regs, he said they were and that he would take us off their contact lists. He was very polite - but I will still be reporting them to the TPS, and hope that all other registered people will as well, as it's the only way to stop these companies.
