Daily calls, claiming to be from legal and general but this is not the legal and general number

Claims to be Aviva. But it doesn't look like any number on any policy and cant find a link on Google tieing this number to Aviva. I hung up and after 5 mins a very similar number ending in 4 different digits rang saying Aviva. Asked if they were Aviva could they send me anything by letter and they said they would prefer to talk. Just didnt feel comfortable
