Although they are a genuine Utilities Agent, they use very unpleasant tactics to con you into quickly agreeing a verbal contract (which is legally binding for business contracts). They get you extremely poor rates and get themselves astronomical agents commission. If you try to contact them, they are aggressive and defensive and extremely unhelpful & unpleasant. British Gas seem to be in cahoots, too, because they accept these methods and "are unable to help or accept a complaint". We are persuing legal proceedings. Stay well clear.

have had several calls from these people over the last 2 years. Wanting me to sort out my gas bill - we are not on gas! Giving wrong name and address. Very very iffy

Been getting cold calls from 'NRG' wanting to renew gas contracts. This number is the latest, have had them from London Area as well. Pushy rep. wanting to do a deal there and then. Might be OK but the whole set up sems very iffy.

Very pushy caller asking me to agree to a renewal - verbal agreement can be enough to get you hooked into a contract. Hung up on me when I asked to be taken off the call list. Be extremely cautious.

Called multiple times about renewing energy account. I'm not the account holder but have the publicly shared number for the charity. Couldn't name the account holder or give the correct date of renewal. Number may belong to a valid business but if so then someone else is spoofing the number.

Scam, scam the whole thing is a scam

Is this a scam asking to renew British Gas business account did ask fir ba k details but was pushy and said if you don't accept today you have no cooling off period. Renewal I sent until April 2023

Pretend they're from British Gas. That is enough to tell you how they operate.

This is not a scam, UKNRG work as consultants to British gas business accounts, they don’t ever ask for your bank details as British Gas already have these details. They deal with renewals and I have used them to renew my business contacts for a long time, they get me discount, they never ask for details and they can process renewals in minutes.

Called by female regarding business contract for British Gas expiring next year. Suspicious so I asked her to phone back in a couple of weeks to give time for my enquiries. In view of previous comments about this number I shall not be responding to the callback

Very pushy woman trying to get me to renew my Business Gas, she seemed to have all my details and insisted her company were acting as agents for my existing energy supplier. Tried to get me to agree a 3 year contract immediately. Since checked with my supplier, not agents just a scam.

Asking me to renew my energy account and stating they are calling from British Gas, when I questioned them it was not genuine

Lady asking me to renew my British Gas Supply which will be expiring soon. Felt the call was not genuine having had a number of similar calls over the past few weeks and the third one today. Put the phone down before submitting any bank details. Warning!

Young lady inviting me to renew Company fuel supply. Next request would have been supply Bank details, never got that far as cut off. (Obvious scam as current fuel deal does not expire until 2023) Be careful.
