As previous comments. Female with oriental/Asian accent advised 'they' had detected a fault on my line. When asked why she was calling and which company she was with, she replied 'Open Reach'. When hanging up she called back and was trying to get me to enter various numeric's into the windows search bar.
Lady with oriental accent asked about internet use, and advised 'they' had detected a fault on my line. When I asked why she was calling and which company she was with, she replied 'BT'. As soon as I revealed I'd had no internet for a week after the recent storm ( BT telegraph pole down), but that the line had been temporarily restored, and that she would know this if if she was with BT, the line went dead. Calling the number back gets the message - ' this number not recognised.'.
