Scam about EE contract ending.

They said they are from O2 and told us our contract will be expired soon but we just extended the contract few weeks ago. It is spammmmm.

Said they were calling from EE, and that I needed to give them my email so they could send details to renew my contract. SCAMMERS!

Heavy accent. Alleged they were from O2 and my contract was up for renewal and my number would be deleted tomorrow. Worry as I am with O2 and have contract is up for renewal. When I asked them my monthly amount he gave wrong figure, then offered unlimited data, calls and texts for £8 a month. Clearly a scam so waved him goodbye. Then he rang back but I didn't pick up call.

Hard to understand as she had a heavy Asian accent , clearly trying to sell something

I am writing to report a suspicious phone call I received today 20th June/26 from the number +44 1484262208 The caller identified themselves as being from Lyca Mobile and informed me that my current Lyca number was due to expire in a couple of days, necessitating a transfer to a new Lyca plan. I wish to clarify that my Lyca Mobile number was transferred to a different service provider a significant time ago, and I am no longer a Lyca Mobile customer. Had I proceeded with the call and confirmed agreement, it is highly probable that the caller would have requested my credit/debit card details for a "new plan." Such a request, under these false pretenses, would undoubtedly lead to fraudulent activity. This incident strongly suggests a phishing or scam attempt designed to illicitly obtain personal financial information by impersonating Lyca Mobile.
