"Hilary" rom ABC called asking to speak to our director. I advised he was not office based and asked if I could take a message. The response was no, just ask him to call me back and she left a mobile number 07920 520599. I enquired as to what it was regarding, the response was"he will know".. and she hung up. Needless to say, he does not know and will not be calling back.
Called up, not knowing the name of the company they had called, and looking for someone who had retired. Then they asked to speak to a "partner". When asked what they were calling about, they hung up!
'Hillary' calls regularly, always abrupt and rude, even put the phone down on us when she was politely told we aren't interested. Not the best approach if they are after customers!
silent call - some sort of scam
Some woman called and said she was calling from something slurred 'capital', when I asked her to repeat it is she said 'I am surprised you don't know the company's name'. Yes, a true Google, Apple or Amazon. Avoid like the plague.
