My line is x directory, BT should have stopped this call this centre is a total waste of time and I'm sure it's a scam
I'll Walk to the SHOP ..... I'll Walk to the SHOP ..... BT Broadband Store on the Local high street and bring my physical I.D. . .............. Forget the Phone Calls from BT Operator / Or SCAM Operator Calls to Upgrade if it's a SCAM Call the Address is Leaked .... and my Age ..... Whom I BANK with is Leaked .....
Repeated calls, does not leave a message on answerphone
Also caller claimed to be from BT having rang my mobile. Said he was going to have to send me a PIN number for security. I find it unclear why sending a text message to a phone you have rang improves my security. This is not the same as my bank sending me a PIN to validate who I am when I make an on line payment. Suspect a scam with PIN manoeuvre added as window dressing for a scam to obtain details.
This is the third variation on scam numbers that have called us this week. See the number don't answer it.
Didn't leave message on smartphone so obviously yet another scam call - despite TPS!!
This number rang me today claiming to be from BT , I could not understand much of what he was saying he had a strong Asian accent . I just said I cant understand you and he hung up . BT on the whole has Scottish call centre sales staff , I know because I'm a BT customer and they do ring once in a while . This fellow just sounded dodgy .
HOW DO THEY GET YOUR NUMBER? MINE IS STRICTLY PRIVATE EX DIRECTORY SOME COMPANY IS SELLING PASSING ON NUMBERS THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE ANS SHOULD BE STOPPED
Number calls every day. Never leaves a message. Almost certainly spam, probably scam.
This number called me on my landline at approx 6pm on 7/6/21. No message left, as such, no-one spoke, but there was very loud radio or TV chatter.
Had this number call me a few times but I say I am too busy to speak! They say they are from b.t.? If I wanted b.t. I would be in touch online with my account!
Caller said from BT. Wanted to go through my account to see if could save money. Asked for first 3 letters of mother's maiden name to clarify account. Was not prepared to give this info to a stranger over the phone
British man called me on my landline saying he was from BT offering to go through my account, save me some money with the latest offers. I’ve recently signed a 2 year contract with them so I was suspicious. He sounded very genuine and even sent a code to my mobile for me to read back to him. I didn’t.
I too have just received a call from this number, but left no ,message, all my contacts leave me a message for me to get back to them. These calls are usually generated from a prison call centre
get on to your bank immediately to let them know abou tthis number, they will blacklist this number, never give out any details or pin numbers, I do not, if someone rings me, they leave me a message for me to get back to them.
If it was BT they would leave you a message to get you to call them back on a number they give in the message.
I’ve just received a call from this number claiming to be from my bank. She knew my name but wanted to go through some ‘security questions’ before discussing my accounts. I immediately ended the conversation!!
Called from BT, checked number on the website as was unsure and is a valid bt number. Spoke to a lovely girl who gave me a great deal on a new broadband package. Not a scam as received email confirmation as well
This number has just rung our land line again claiming to be from BT was suspicious as it was an unknown number so hung up. Spam or a scam?
Caller said he was from BT. I asked him to phone on mobile number. Failed to do so. Strange. Spam??

Constant calling, especially early evening. I have ignored the calls and started declining them, but they still call...
This call was from scammers claiming to be from EE saying I may qualify for a 30% discount off my bill for the next...
Got a text- it's from Scrumbles cat food. Link leads to their website. All good.
Indian guy with thick accent pretending to be from o2 and virgin media. Hung up abruptly when questioned.
