DO NOT Answer the calls from EE …… PHONE SCAMMERS use the same TACTIC …. PLEASE GO TO THE STORE AND BUY YOUR OWN PAY-AS-YOU-GO OR CONTRACT VIA THE STORE ONLY
A SCAMMER FROM A CALL CENTER may use social media, email, and websites to disseminate bogus job opportunities or disguise themselves as a real company. By making the account, page, or message appear legitimate using a real company's name, logo, and other information, it has a better chance of fooling you BEWARE………. IT IS BEST TO VISIT STORE / SHOP IN PERSON
This is the ee team it is not a scam they had helped me procure my phone.
I've received 2 calls from this number 01462 341325 but have not answered and will now block.
Called from this number and said was from EE. Could I confirm my name as calls recorded and what were the 2 and 4th digits of my password and to confirm What phone model I last upgraded too. I didn’t say any password details and he didn’t correct me, I ended the call. He was well spoken British.
Also I call the number back and it says its EE
Had a call from this number mentioned the order I tried to put in the other night but the bloke knew my name and knew what bank I bank with aswell said my new phone would be here tomorrow
Claimed to be from EE. Asking for personal information. I hung up.
Man phoned asking about my recent visit to EE website/shop and wanted to know the out come. Didn’t disclose any information and said I wasn’t happy discussing as no security was asked.
Rang me claiming to be from EE to tell me of upgrades, wanted to confirm my details cheeky bastard so told him I wasn’t giving them over the phone, put phone down , scam
Claimed to be EE, do not take this call it’s a scam!
Same as above, claimed to be EE, clearly not, didn't know my name.
Called claiming to want to make sure I got the best deal from ee I said ye then I hung up very odd
