Scammer trying to get info from wife claimed to be HMRC Block him and report

Called me asking if I was still married told him no I’m not even married then told him to f**k off

A woman called twice, first time didn't answer when I said 'hello' so I hung up. She called back asking for 'Lucy'.

Lady stated she was from the Windermere Group and offering marriage tax allowance. Concerned as to how my mobile number and name were accessed.

asked me about my marriage allowance, said i was not married and had never been married - line went dead

Just had same call. I just said can’t get marriage allowance. And then he said ok thank you. I wonder where they got my number and name from though.

Same here. Asked about mine and husband's income. Didn't tell him much.

Asked if I knew about marriage allowance as I was eligible. Sounded plausible which is worrying

Lady said she was calling on behalf of the Windermere group asking if I was still married and if I knew about marriage tax allowance. Frustrating how these people get your details.

Asked for name, asked if 'still' married, said government scheme for married people, hung up as soon as he realised that he was getting nothing from me

Claiming to be working on behalf of marriage tax allowance asking for details to see if I eligible.
