Rang c 1pm on 1/9/26. A man with an Australian (possibly NZ) accent said 'We're ringing all home owners today about the new rules and regulations which are very distressing'. 'I'm sure you you've seen on the BBC news'. I told him I didn't wish to be cold called and rang off. He rang back immediately and I didn't pick up. I strongly suspect a scam as a) he didn't say what 'rules and regulations' or what they concerned; b) no such news is apparent on the BBC or other reliable sources; and c) he didn't say which company or organisation he represented.
