Additional note - the number purports to be from Colt Technology Services, which was hacked in August 2025 and customer data stolen. May have got phone numbers from there - the caller did not say they were from Colt Technology Services.

Claimed to be phoning about a non-existent problem with my internet provision but did not know which provider/service I used. Young man with strong south asian (Indian) accent and intonation, phoning from a Glasgow phone number but not a trace of local Glasgow accent. Seemed a typical but poorly scripted scam call from an inexperienced caller. Phoned to my landline in Devon this morning.
