received an unsolicited phone call at 8.58 on a Saturday morning, from what sounded like an Indian call centre. The caller claimed she was contacting me on behalf of Legal & General with regards to my washing machine. I explained I was on the TPS & clearly stated I wanted my phone number removed from their database & not called again. However, as this has happened 2 or 3 times this last quarter, I am now formerly complaining online to the TPS - at https://www.tpsonline.org.uk/complaint - who require “ the organisation’s name and/or telephone number, and the date and time the call was received” Having used 1471 to check the last caller’s number, the answerphone message identified the caller as ‘First Voice’ on a Braintree, Essex Tel No: 01376 748025
A man called saying he was from Domestic Services. As I have had at least three phone calls this week telling me my washing machine needs servicing, I did not give him a chance to tell me what he was calling about. I just said said “you are the third caller this week. Just go away”. I put the phone down. Irritating and a pest.
Woman with Indian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach, I told her I didn't have internet just a manual typewriter and she hung up!
01376 748025 called my landline number here in Doncaster twice today 28 January 2021. I do not respond to unknown numbers and since I have an answer machine, if the caller does not leave a message I will not call back!
Rang twice within half an hour - caller simply hung up.
A womans voice (english & regional) said a syllable or two, suddenly background chatter kicked in, then nothing. I dialled 1471; and my husband rang the number from his mobile, then an automated voice said 'First Voice' is not available at the moment ' ...or somesuch. The call from Mobile cost approx 11p SJ

BT internet scam, kept him on the phone for 30 mins. Will try and use Team Viewer to remote on. Then possibly try the refund scam. Kept giving wrong TV ID, until he told me to reboot, then told him my computer keeps crashing and he had installed a virus. He hung up. Pity it couldn't have kept him on line longer Ha Ha
Phone went dead when I asked if I could call them back after the lady claiming to be from BT was clearly calling from an Indian call centre.
This is a scam. Caller pretends to be from BT and says problem with internet speed. Do not share any details.
Indian guy claiming to be from bt openreach calling about my internet. Dont have bt. Scammer. Irony is, bt or openreach know about this stuff and have power to stop it, yet they do nothing letting scammers drag their names through mud. would act rather than let these scams drag their names through mud.
Caller said he was John from BT Openreach and had received reports that my broadband speed was less than it should be. I assured him it was fine and there wasn't any problem. He insisted that the reason for his call is to let me know that he is receiving reports proving there definitely is something wrong with my Internet connection. I said I didn't believe his name is John or that he's from OpenReach. That didn't put him off at all and he carried on with his rehearsed script about reports he is receiving and that there is a problem with my Internet. I asked where these reports were coming from and he hung up. Persistent and harassing, potentially dangerous
Apparently my line speed is not up to par....the old ones are the best eh, LOL
Bt scam - slow broadband and router problems. managed to keep him on the line for 10 mins before he realised I was scamming him :D
Caller claiming to be from Open Reach, regarding your broadband speeds have been dropping. Asking you to go to a computer and give your router I.D. Its a call centre in India so obviously do not give them any information. The caller gets very abusive when when you don't play along with the scam.
Just had call from this number, answered and nothing.
Asian accent man claiming to be from BT Openreach. Told him if he knew my number, he would know my name and address. Blustered comment from him and then he hung up! Getting sick of these scams! Thinking of buying an air horn!
Three calls within 20mins then line went dead

This call was from scammers claiming to be from EE saying I may qualify for a 30% discount off my bill for the next...
Got a text- it's from Scrumbles cat food. Link leads to their website. All good.
Indian guy with thick accent pretending to be from o2 and virgin media. Hung up abruptly when questioned.
