Lady phoned initially from an Edinburgh number to say my computer had been hacked by people downloading childporn. When I said phone the police then she said that they don’t investigate cybercrime…I hung up and she called back from this number very aggressive and told me I had to go to Reading to prove who I was or they would block my Microsoft account. She did have my name and address though which was a bit unnerving.

Call from a well-spoken male informing us that our computer had been hacked. We hung up. The caller phoned back immediately demanding to know why we'd hung up. He became rather aggressive but after shouting SCAMMER down the line for half a minute, he stopped talking and hung up.
