said suspected scam but picked up anyway for the fun of it. silence for a few seconds then an automated voice says 'goodbye'. Odd. silence for another 10 seconds then the call ends

Number tried to call but phone automatically flagged as spam so did not answer. What companies ring you on a bank holiday?! Dead giveaway.
