called twice and said they were bt and stated arguing with me.

Claimed to be from BT - not true

I never answer unexpected calls on my mobile. After reading reports here, I'm glad I didn't answer!

Called trying to claim they are from BT. Contacted our account manager at BT and they confirmed it as a potential scam.

Called from a mobile number originally claiming to be from sky trying to get me to upgrade my phone. She had very broken English. Told her I didn't need a phone but my broadband needs upgraded. She then proceeded to try and sell me a package for £22 a month which is considerably less than I'm currently paying. When I questioned about speeds etc she had no idea about anything so I hung up. Then had missed calls from 2 different mobile numbers and the 0131 number that I answered and it was the same woman. Had more missed calls since. All been blocked

Scam!!!

Claims they are from BT and calling to renew our contract which is about to expire. When I said we are not interested and thank them for the call they caller became a bit pushy. Our contract is not with BT so this is a scam.

Claimed to be from BT and wanted to renew phone and broadband contract. Hung up on me when I said I don't have a contract with BT
