Same here… it took 3 calls and 2 hours to cancel my subscription…. The emails stopped and have now started again…. It started with an email (with no unsubscribe option) on Wednesday, then two txt yesterday and now a phone call

I bought a subscription from beer52 for my boyfriend as a gift but the beer was awful of the worst gimmicky nonsense flavour kind which he hated. Nightmare to cancel and they ring so many times despite me requesting my details be removed every single time. Number blocked now. Avoid this company, you shouldn’t need such tricks to sell your product. What a terrible business plan obviously subscription rates needed to satisfy lenders rather than customer satisfaction.

Beer 52, I canceled the subscription last year, and it took me forever to do it - I asked why they don't have the option to do it online like every other subscription based company, and they said they're too small a company to do that! It takes NOTHING to make that available online! Plus, they keep calling me aggressively to restart the subscription. It's a shame because it seemed like it was a great idea, to be honest. Reported it as spam and blocked their number.

Beer 52. I cancelled ages ago and they re-subscribed me a couple months after without my permission. Was a bit of a pain to get that sorted. Now starting on the multiple calls a day.. I’ve blocked the number so hopefully that stops them. Not sure why they think phoning people to harass them to sign up again will work…

Yeah, I had a nightmare trying to cancel my beer subscription with these guys, and now getting these calls from them… will probably block the number.

I checked this website as I had a missed call, makes sense it’s Beer52, I signed up to this subscription service, after two months I cancelled, did have to phone to cancel and explain why

Probably Beer 52. I was subscribed once upon a time but they seem to call me now and again. I missed the call anyway but I’ll be blocking the number as I’m not interested.

Ha! No way, that’s what I told them (I don’t either) and they call me every Friday (and often midweek too) to try and get me to sign back up to their awful beers. They really are awful human beings. 🤦‍♂️

2-3 calls per day from Beer/Wine52 for several months to re-activate a cancelled subscription that was almost impossible to cancel in the first place. They do not have my lawful valid consent and are in breach of PECR. I am reporting them to the ICO and I urge everyone else to do the same. They will be fined if people keep reporting them.

Beer 52 are a terrible company to deal with, I joined like everyone else during lockdown and later tried to cancel and it took me hours on the phone AND I had to tell them that I had a drinking problem (I didn’t) to get them to finally cancel it. They still call me to restart my subscription which is really bad if I did have a problem!

I haven't paid for my Beer52 sub for more than 6 months and they are still calling me at least 3 times a week. Relentless, I feel sorry for the phone jockeys

Yes I second this. Awful to cancel, could never get through but always someone available to try and get you to re start your subscription

Company is Beer52, although legitimate, they are next to impossible to get away from, and call me all the time. It took hours of phone calls to cancel in the first place, they operate very poorly and this activity should be shut down. If it were easier to cancel and rejoin later via the web, people would - I would - but there customer service sucks
