I think it's Adaware, or seriously still, Google servers proxy a UK number Ring it, if its an American pre rec, it omitts zilch, then tells you hang on, after 2 secs, cuts ya off, that's a variant imo
Just had the same call from a different no again saying he was Martin Leadbetter, said I didn't believe this was a real call and cut him off.
Rethink Energy UK Ltd is a dissolved company. The Director was Irish. Rethink Energy is now based in Dublin.
Again, ‘Martin’ called from ‘Rethink Energy’, claiming the cold call wasn’t a cold call. Can only be a scam.
Called today at 1.38 but rang off when answerphone kicked in. If they are a legitamate company why hide behind 'unknown caller' and they shouldn't be calling people registered with TPS.
We got a call from them despite being registered with tps
Silent call and it then went dead. Phoned number and got message ALL OUR AGENTS ARE BUSY - PLEASE LEAVE YOUR NAME AND NUMBER.
Rethink Energy same as all above, not a cold call etc.
I got a call from this number saying they were Rethink Energy today. I was in a bad reception area so call got dropped :)
The caller said "This is Martin calling from the customer care department of Rethink Energy. This is not a cold call ......" I just put the phone down, as it clearly was a cold call, and probably a scam.
English accent asking if i was the homeowner and also saying it wasn't a 'cold call'. I replied that of course it was a cold call. A few seconds later, the response was ' we can't help you today.' Thinking back on it, both messages were recorded.
