Amazon and fake money transfer scam call. Get stuffed!
Suspect it was scam. Woman claiming to be from Microsoft, she seemed to have my computer licence number and insisted my laptop was compromised. I said I couldn't check as I had lost my laptop charger and battery was dead. She said if I didn't check I would have to go to Reading HQ within 3 days (as if!!) Told her to ring again another time - so that I could waste some more of her time!
Lifted receiver, line went dead, hopefully it stays that way.
Had to change my landline number because of these scam calls ( my number is also ex directory and I havent given it out to no one, not even family!) The caller claimed to be from micro soft, told him to stop calling me, only to be told to shut my mouth before I hung up! Number now blocked!
It’s about time that that all companies etc., were banned from selling lists of phone numbers and prosecuted if they do. Unscrupulous people get access and the scams start! So many vulnerable people have been duped into handing over all they have to these low life’s. 🤬🤬🤬😡😡
Call from this number, nobody there when you pick it up. Obviously a scam!
A call the same as others have had. The number is now blocked!
Rung twice in 3 hours - obvious automated dialling as there was no-one at their end to pick up the link fast enough. Unfortunately we said 'Hello' - so they now know it's a live number. I'll block this number, but they'll be back!
The Indian female called Amy (lol) was from Microsoft - as above said my computer had been hacked and they were using it for money laundering and pornography told her I was 73 so nobody would believe that anyway! Told her I wasn't interested and then the cheek of it she rang back 4 more times threatened me she would block computer and I would have to go to their head office in Reading to pay to have unlocked and said she would keep ringing until I listened but then I had the last laugh she didn't know I had call block!!!
Indian sounding chap, phoned saying he was calling from Microsoft. Wanted to talk about my computer. Told them I didn’t have a computer, they hung up.
As above, call from Microsoft saying I had been hacked. This one is so old it originally started about 10 years ago. I still didn't fall for it. Second call in three days but they did know my name.
Very Annoying having rung every 30 mins all day with nobody there.
woman with indian accent said she was from microsoft and my computer has been hacked , when i laughed at her she swore at me three times , hope i didnt upset her
Woman with an Indian accent called to say she was from Microsoft and that my computer had been compromised. Obvious scam so hung up.
Called saying he was from Microsoft and my computer had been hacked - wanted me to go online there and then and he would show me the hacking messages. Got shirty when I said I'd have a look later. Assume scam to gain access and bank or other sensitive info

This call was from scammers claiming to be from EE saying I may qualify for a 30% discount off my bill for the next...

Indian guy with thick accent pretending to be from o2 and virgin media. Hung up abruptly when questioned.
