01286 333021 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

This number called, is not registered against any of my contacts, so I'm initially suspicious. I pick up, and say nothing. After 3 seconds of silence, their robo-dialler does not detect me as a human, and hangs up. If a real person were on the other end, they'd say hello etc.

They called my partners phone, which I answered. They didn't ask for X person (i.e my partner) so they're trying their luck. The person who was speaking spoke fast and monotonus, so initially I thought it was a pre-recording until I asked for the number to be removed. We've been getting these kinds of calls ever since the Labour Party data breach last month. She did have the audacity though to ask if I wanted to make a £40 charity donation after rushing who she "was calling on behalf of" [swiftly told no] I was instantly told bye. I also didn't answer their questions with any "yes" answers as I know most record name,address and some form of confirmation.

Initally claimed to be O2 offering me an upgrade. Then claimed to be Smartphonestore with the website Phones . co . uk. Indian call centre, very unlikely to be genuine. Gave me a number to call back on 03303218495 which is reported as another scam number on here.

“Good morning ma’am are you okay?” Then hangs up when I asked who it was ?? Sus

I could barely understand the caller, something about phone upgrades. Who knows.

Fake Carphone Warehouse AGAIN - been polite until now but this guy showed his true colours when I told him where to go. Happily my abuse was on level to really annoy him and enjoyed laughing at his abuse.

this number is registered at the address 21a plymouth road, barnt green, birmingham, b45 8jf under the name Stuart Wright at least we know where this scammer lives! no wonder it's a nice big house he lives in he keeps scamming people!

Scammer pretending to be carphone warehouse. Done a quick research on the number and is now part of a pool of numbers used by a VoIP service provider likely to be India Calcutta so the chances of this being a genuine call is zero. Don't give them any information and do like I do and start calling them scammers and see how unprofessional and aggressive they become. They will make threats of having your pc under control and next time it boots up they will stop it working but that's just tactics they use to try and get you fooled.

I’ve recently completed forms for driving licence and Covid pass and this always happens when I put my phone number on these sorts of forms, it’s not optional it’s compulsory to submit the form’ very frustrating when all that happens is you get nuisance calls from unknown numbers such as this
