Just had a call trying to upgrade my sim due to new technology. They sent me a 5 digit number via Vodaphone and when I stopped halfway and asked for a number to call back on to verify she started to get rude. Indian accent. Ended the call but nearly gave me the information due to the code coming from a text which was the one I get vodapgone messages on it.

received a call saying her name is Sara Read the last digits of my phone number and asked me to confirm it so that it sounds legit🤣 Then asked me to update my sim with vodafone , eventhough Ive never used vodafone. Pure scammer
Said they were from Vodafone and that due to an update in technology I needed a new sim card as mine would become inactive. When I said I would contact vodafone direct as i didnt believe it was a genuine call she got a little aggressive so I ended the call
Said they were from 3 , name Alex said as loyal customer would be getting 30% off bills, asked for post code.said calls were recorded for trading purposes. Also asked for permission to look at my account. Didn't believe it and ended the call.
