Missed call, tried to call back but hang up from2nd ring

Scam call via EE. Blocked and reported.

Scam call pretending to be O2

Indian accent with the usual "Hi, Mam. This O2". Cut him off and blocked. 1 April 2022 13.10 hours.

Answered the call, and it went dead

Hi - This person pretends to be from O2 and is trying to scam money from my wife.

Purported to be from Carphone Warehouse. I asked her where is was from. She said London. I said, the number you are using is from Clevedon. A little fummuxed she made out Clevedon was in London. No, I say, Clevedon is in the south-west, no where near London. Must only assume they are from India using fake UK numbers

Silent as soon as I answered the call

Claimed they were from Carphone warehouse that they would reduce my bill by ten pounds it was a promotional offer but when they started asking question they were asking questions they should know the answers to if they where from Carphone warehouse so I hung up

I was very upset. He kept on saying the same words over and over. I couldn’t understand him, I think the words was swear words, in the language he used. “ teri maa di pudi “ Can someone explain these words please?…. My google search engine, is not working.

Silent when answered

Was told it was Tesco Mobile and when I said I wasn't with Tesco Mobile he started asking questions about who I am with and how much I pay. I told him none of his business and I will call into the local Tesco store if they are doing a promotion. He then hung up !!!!

Hung up as soon as I answered

Couldn’t understand their accent sadly but I think they wanted to upgrade my phone?!
