01269 839047 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Received a call from this number but my 'phone said it was a scam. I answered and played him some Rock music at full volume. Surprisingly he rang off - obviously not a music fan.

I had same call ...I asked when did I have the accident then?.the woman replied Dont get clever with me Lady and hungup on me!! Haha !!!

How do you know all your personal information has been stole? How did you find that out? Or are you just assuming it has been stole?

Go and learn about the Indian national industry on Youtube by watching Jim Browning, or Pierogi, or Scammer payback, then when you've gained some knowledge, tell all your friends and family in order to help them not lose money. If you choose not to bother to learn and not to bother to share what you learn, you're part of the problem.

I do that - love winding them up. I've had the 'your washing machine warranty is about to run out' I may have been taken except I have a new washing machine and it has a 10 year warranty on it.

As soon as they say it's to do with my internet, I put the phone down. My internet provider never phones uninvited

Probably from a program that continually dials mobile numbers until somebody answers. Worry not; they don't know who you are!

This number was on an email my husband received today claiming he had subscribed to a firm called FRESH BOOKS.. They said they had taken out £49 and that if he wished to cancel to follow THEIR link to Paypal... Its a scan to get into your paypal account. avoid like the plague.

An Asian sounding female rang,to say that She was from Warranty Cover,and that Our Washing machine Warranty had expired,which I knew was a lie. When I told Her that I did not have a washing machine,She hung up.

Hung up as soon as I said hello. Probably moving on til an old dear answers. That's the level these creeps are on.
