Called today but phone didn't even ring , I called number back ,it appears to be Basildon council automated voice answer machine directing me to enter number of extention I require but the number for Basildon council is 01268 533333 so I'm guessing it's a scam of some sort as no msg was left for me .

I had a missed call from this number. When I called back. There was a recorded message saying "Thank you for calling Basildon Borough Council. "Don't know which department called as no voice message was left, so will have to wait for them to call again.
