01257 752376 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

As above, offering emergency alarm systems, very " I know better than you " attitude fortunately the phone battery went dead and cut him off, I'll never know now if I'm a pompous twat, what a shame.

Just had similar call. New my name. When I asked who he worked for he said "Your Mum!" and rang off. He must have some great contacts as my mother died over 30 years ago!

Called and said that they were the regional co-ordinator from Crime UK making it sound legit so I went looking for the number as I always assume everything is a scam. Might not be a scam but made it sound as though it was an official organisation. Fortunately I had a poor reception and kept saying can't hear you so they rang off!

Asked for Mrs Davies, when I said that's not me, they hung up.....bloody irritating these damn phone calls ....

Caller put phone down when l answered

selling emergency alarm systems for over 65's and offers 'at home' appointments to discuss their charges and fees (but when they get their feet in your door watch out). They offer morning, afternoon and evening appointments by one of their dedicated officials. The person that called me rabbited on (without coming up for air) for two minutes or more before asking me what time of the day I would prefer. Well, as I have an alarm system and do not wish to invest in any further security I simply told him that I would prefer 'NO TIME AT ALL because I already have a system' ... he then called me a POMPOUS TWAT and hung up; you too can be one if you call them although their number appears to be an outgoing one only.

I answered, short silence then a robot voice said 'Goodbye'. Blocked the number.

Asked for my name and rang off once I confermed my second name. Wish I hadn't now :/

Caller hung up when call answered.

When answered caller just rang off.
