01256 577958 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Scammers or cold callers. Very rude and persistent and sick to death of getting calls from them - claim to be from Rubik/Rubix - asked for director by name and lie by saying they have already spoken to him. When ask specifically what it is regarding they refuse to say and when therefore told they will not be put through caller (John Slade) starts saying we are wasting his time!! If cold callers selling - how are you ever going to sell anything by lying, being rude and refusing to say what you are calling about? Now blocked.

Same as most of the above. Called asking to speak to the director following up on a previous call. Wouldn't give anything away other than they are a Rubix and a business consultancy agency = knob.

"Jonathan Robinson" rang - when questioned - said he'd send an email - no message - rang number (captured on caller ID) company is "Rubik" or "Rubix" and they don't answer incoming calls - so either cold call sales or scam - either way, number blocked

'Jonathan' called asking for a director of the company but despite asking him several times wouldn't say where he was calling from only that they would know who he was. We don't. Very pushy and I ended up hanging up on him.

Very quickly came in with directors name, didn't say who he was or where he was from. just another time waster, blocked.

This chap asked for our F.D. by her first name, when asked what the call was about he said from Rubik but would not explain more. They are another seller of 'cheap' finance I discovered. Well would ANY proper business deal with people like this when they act is such a crude way? I hope not!

Someone pretending to know the business owner - wouldn't say what company she was from... just 'Laura Jones' called

Oliver rang - asked for director's by name - when asked what it was concerning - usual " oh he knows me - spoke to him the other day". Does not say where he's from. Very abrupt manner.

Francesca called. Rude and very persistent. Tries to make out that she knows the directors and they are awaiting her call. Absolutely fed up of these callers. Everyday someone like this calls. Will not say what the call is about. Blatantly obvious they are trying to scam you. Who would trust any caller like this to buy anything from them! Go away and stop wasting our time!!!

Calls repeatedly, but always denies ever calling before! Always told to delete our number and not call again. When are these type calls to be made illegal. Always says exactly the same thing about calling before, do you remember, oh i must have left a good impression!!!!! Also takes a few seconds for them to connect i.e automated phone system that just pee's you off. Sick of rushing to to phone for these sort of calls. I wonder how many elderly people try to rush to their phones and perhaps even end up in hospital. SHOULD BE BANNED

Unwanted call from Oliver - selling a digital phone system- who claimed he spoke to me before- this is a lie. I told him "I'm not interested- please remove me from your database and dont call again". he kept talking. I told him he must desist. he still kept talking and refused to end the call despite several requests. In the end I put the phone down.

Call from Dan asking to speak to the director. Asked where he was calling from and what it was regarding, told me he couldn't divulge that information. Finally got out of him that he was from Rubix and he was expecting his call - sorry not on my watch Dan

The caller asked for a member of staff who retired 6 years ago. I hung up!

Francesca, called and asked for a memeber of staff when asked for their second name she laughed and then hung up. blocked

Call from Oliver who made out he was great mates with the director - asked where he was on holiday etc. Wasnt giving him any information and he started to get very defensive making out I knew who he was. Been doing this job many years and I know a sales call when i hear one and this tactic will not work. Refused to give any information about what he wanted and just kept asking questions as if he is a directors mate. Blocked number - waste of my time

Same here. A Francesca called, persisting to speak with the business owner, stating she said she had arranged to call back. No substance to her claims. Also refuses to email. 10/10 for effort.

Try to get through by asking for the owner by first name and stating that they're following on from a previous conversation. Usual guff, left them on hold for a while until they gave up

It's a cold call from Rubix trying to sell something. Pretended he's chums with a director and greeted me with the director's first name and did not introduce himself. Only gave info when questioned. Refused to tell me what he was trying to sell. Advice to salesman: it's impossible to make a sale if you refuse to answer when a potential customer asks what you are selling.

Unwanted IT and VOIP phone call from IDE Reading. They use a conversation to get through saying they are returning your call. We always check and block their numbers along with all the other unwanted callers on our VOIP phone system
