I had a call from this number, just now. It was an indian accent. The number was very close to a call that I was expecting and it was unclear what company they said and I thought it was from the company I was expecting. So I said that their number shows as fraud/scam. After them saying something it was cut off. I tried calling back but it was blocked.
The number showed up as being from Blackpool, but given the accent and the background noise, it sounded like the call came from an Indian call centre. They opened by asking how I was, but didn't say my name, which is always a red flag. I asked who they were and what the call was about. They said they were from 02 and my number ending 178 (accurate) had qualified for a 30% discount. At this point, I told them the call was a scam as it was my work phone, and I hung up.
